In August, we partnered with AT&T and TOMS Shoes to give away 1,000 pairs of shoes, plus A&T smartphones and Netbooks. 

There was also a contest and today, we’re ready to announce the grand prize winner! Minara of Dallas has won a trip to Argentina with TOMS Shoes to deliver their one millionth shoe to a child in need!

Minara remembers entering the contest when she checked in at a local DSW shoe store with her boyfriend. Here’s what she had to say about winning the trip to Argentina: “Words just can’t describe how blessed and fortunate I am to have this opportunity. There are many people who have been able to give back to the world and those who are still waiting for that moment. This will be my moment to give back and help out these children and needy families. Thank you to TOMS Shoes, AT&T, and Gowalla for allowing me to come along and witness this incredible event. It’s like a dream come true.”
